Today in our society people all over the world think violence is the answer to solving problems. Yea sometimes violence is the ONLY answer... but not all problems CAN be SOLVED with violence.
Around the world people in countries are dying because of their sexual orientation. People do not have the right to execute anyone for any reason. Especially in Iraq. Gay men are afraid to even go out and buy bread for themselves. Violent acts have been a common problem about people who are homosexuals. At a central park there were 4 shootings. Why do people use violence to try and stop this kind of issue? You can't stop homosexuals nor can you stop violence. Hate crimes are often in the world all around.
- Out of 20,000 murders, 9 were considered hate crimes.
- Out of every 20,000 rapes, 2 were hate crimes.
- Out of every 20,000 aggravated assaults, 24 were hate crimes.
Today hate crimes are still the same towards race, sex, religion, and sexual orientation.

Look carefully at the statistics you've used. The percent of murders, rapes and aggravated assaults as related to hate crimes against homosexuals are very low. I went to look at your hyperlinked source and found out that this is a site that is actually saying that hate crime rates are really rare. Did you really read this source, or misread it? Is it really related to your point of view on this topic? What is the date on these statistics -- is the data current?
I think you've done a great job mentioning the plight of Iraqi homosexuals, but what about here in the US or Europe or Canada? Surely there are very specific stats and stories to tell about this horrible truth....
